Counseling experiences should feel safe, comfortable, and trusting.           Please contact me so I may offer my assistance to you.

Individual therapy

Counseling can appear to be overwhelming and intimidating. However it does not have to be this way. As we seek validation and acceptance in our lives, there are certain paths that we must take to find them. It is my belief, that one of the most important things is for people to learn how to get along with other important people in their lives, such as friends, spouses, siblings, relatives, coworkers, etc. I strongly believe that the fundamental relationship between a client and counselor is to foster openness, personal growth, and autonomy.

      About Me

I graduated from Loyola University New Orleans in 1999 with a Master's Degree in Counseling. Having been a licensed professional counselor in the greater New Orleans area for 17 years, I have experience in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. In this clinical role, I have served the economically disadvantaged, misdemeanor domestic violence offenders, abused children and adults, adolescents and young adults struggling with identity, as well as military service members and their families.

Couples therapy

As a psychotherapist, I assist clients in learning how to address the lack of satisfying relationships in his/her own life.  Working on unhealthy communication patterns will require a commitment from both people in the relationship. However, through these improved relationships, the client can satisy his or her own need for love and belonging. Call to make an appointment for a look into how rewarding this work can manifest in your relationship.
